One of the things I decided to start in the Jewish New Year was Project 365. I have tried this project for several years now and always seem to lose steam a few months into it. I had come to the conclusion as 2011 began that maybe I needed to wait until I had kids to do a daily photo project, but as the year progressed, I realized two things: 1) my life is more active than it was, and thus there is more for me to photograph; 2) I don't have to be perfect to do this - forgetting a day or two is not the end of the world, especially since there are many creative solutions, many of which I've learned about on my favorite scrapbooking gurus' blogs. Once I realized that this is something I could pull off, I couldn't wait until 2012 to do it; but, starting in the middle of the year seemed weird. Thank you, Jewish New Year! So, without further ado, here are five of my favorites from the past two weeks.

Getting ready for Rosh HaShanah, I felt good about
a new year, a new me, and a pretty new dress.

I loved this pink Cadillac that was on display at the
Walk for Life.

I had to pull over to capture the beautiful sunset I saw
on the way home from Yom Kippur services.
The sky matched my peaceful mood perfectly.

10/12
This is our Temple's Sukkah,
prepped for Sukkot dinner and services.
Our religious school kids did a great job of decorating
it the previous Sunday.

Hubby, having off for fall break, and I,
having off for Sukkot, enjoyed a picnic lunch
in the Sukkah before going to
a weekday afternoon movie.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Lovely photos Cheryl. Love the pink Cadillac too.... ;)
Great photos! I am too forgetful to do a 365, but I didn't think about a 52. Surely I can manage one photo each week, right?
I wish you much success on the next 360+ days!
