I love Cheri's goal of working 15 minutes per day to achieve a larger, more daunting task. I'm curious to hear how it went. It's really amazing what can get done in 15 minutes, and I think this is a great way to approach those BIG to-dos.
I was super excited to read that Kristin achieved her goal of choosing a Ph.D. program to attend. Congrats, girlfriend!
Last but not least, The Nutty Brunette's focus on health this week is an awesome one. She's also doing a local walk for lupus, which is right on, and I love that she's doing it with her kiddo.
As for me, I wrote a 4,7740-word flashback for my novel this week. It's a few hundred words short of my goal, but I'm proud of my accomplishment nonetheless, especially since I had so much else to do this week.
Set It
I submitted an article to a magazine several months ago, and I have yet to hear a yea or nay. This week, I'm going to 1) tap into my online writing community to find out the proper etiquette for following up with the editor, 2) follow through with the follow-up, and 3) if it's a nay (which is the assumption at this point), I'll send a query to two additional magazines I researched that might be a good fit for it.
